Advanced Placement Program

Stone Memorial High is excited to announce that we now offer Advanced Placement courses. Advanced Placement courses enable our students to take college-level courses while still in high school. Students taking the end of course AP exam(s) can gain college credit and placement into advanced college courses. AP exams also provide colleges and universities additional information about a student's ability to succeed in college-level study.

SMHS offers the following AP courses:
AP Computer Science A
AP English 11
AP US History
AP Studio Art 2-D
AP Studio Art Drawing

There is no cost to the student to take an AP course, but there is an end of course exam fee. For more information about AP classes please contact Lisa Dillard or visit the AP website at www.collegeboard.com/apstudents.
